Hi there! I’m Joy Groblebe and thanks for visiting my blog. I am a work from home wife and mother. I have a husband, four kids, a house, two dogs and own two businesses.
My life is crazy, and I count it ALL Joy.
Often people say to me, “how do you do everything you do?” I guess the easy answer is I take one thing at a time and try not to sweat the small stuff. The harder answer, and the one I am continually working on, is that I try to find true joy in everything – the kind of Joy that can only come from Christ.
Nehemiah 8:10 says, “Do not sorrow, for the Joy of the Lord is your strength.”
This is a blog about finding JOY in every situation – the good, the bad and the ugly. It’s my personal blog and it covers the things I love – my faith, my family, my work, my home and the occasional random post about something completely irrelevant to any of that.
Now, a little about me and my family…
I grew up in Colorado and am one of six kids (5 girls and 1 boy) in a blended family. Over twelve years ago I married my “perfect match”, my sweet husband Travis. We have four kiddos who keep us very busy. Jacob is 10, Delaney is 8, Sara is 4 and our baby Eleanor is 2. Of course I can’t forget our dogs – Pearl (aka The World’s Most Amazing Stupid Dog) and Boomer (yes, we’re big OU fans).
Since getting married we’ve moved around, a lot. Nine homes in four states in the first ten years of our marriage was busy to say the least. In 2009 we were blessed to find our “dream home” on ten acres in Colorado. I’m thrilled to say there will be NO MORE MOVING!
I am a work at home entrepreneur and involved in two different businesses. As an Owner of Frontline Management I provide artist management for various authors, speakers and entertainers. I get to work with some amazing people including Ken Davis, Michael Hyatt and my business partner, Brian Scheer. I also own a business with my sister Jennifer called The Cupcake Tower. If you make cupcakes, you need something to display them on right? The Cupcake Tower…check it out!
I’d love to say I’ll post 3 times a week but well, you can look at the history and see that’s not really true. I love to blog, it’s just that whole time and priority thing. In any case, please be sure to sign up to receive updates by RSS or email. I’d love to read your comments or you can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I’m excited to get to know you. Thanks for stopping by!
